WHAT WE ARE: Monadnock Crops is a group of scrapbook enthusiasts that meets several times per year for an all-day Saturday crop at the Town Hall in Temple, NH. Monadnock Crops is run by Mandy Sliver (former NH Scrapbook Cabin owner) Liz Ellingwood, (Creative Memories Independent Consultant) and Julia Duhaime (the best scrapbook layout teacher ever!)
MEMBERSHIP: 2011 Members pay $50 for 2012! To become a new member for 2012, the cost is $60 per person and that includes up to 6 crops during the year (we hold 6 - you decide which ones you want to go to.) They are all held on Saturdays and go from 9am to 5pm. If you can't commit to being a member, you can come to one crop for $15 or buy a package of 3 crops for $40. Obviously the best deal here is the membership even if you don't make it to all 6 of the crops.
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE CROPS: A Free Make & Take at each crop, goody bags for members, access to techniques classes and vendors!
VENDORS: Liz Ellingwood, Creative Memories Independant Consultant, will be set up to fulfill all your CM needs! If you want to see what's available, check out her website, www.mycmsite.com/sites/lizellingwood. Also, if you want her to bring something special so that you can try it or buy it, just let her know!
CLASSES: Mandy, Liz and Julia will be teaching classes available with advance sign-up for any of the crops and they will be posted under "Classes" for each month. These classes are an additional cost and you must pre-register.
FOOD: These are "no-frills" crops to keep the cost down which means that there is no lunch included. Some of the croppers have been pooling their resources together to order out. Please note that the nearest place to order food is about a 10-15 minute drive and nobody delivers to Temple. We also think it is fun to have each person bring a snack to share with the group in addition to their lunch.
